Vintage Pearsons Stoneware Storage Jar with Cork Lid – Brown Glaze Leaf Motif

Quality English stoneware storage jar by Pearsons of Chesterfield (stamp on the base). Finished in a rich honey-brown glaze with a subtle leaf motif, and complete with a chunky cork lid. Great for pantry/kitchen storage (tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits) or as a decorative counter-top canister. The base is marked Made in England and also notes it is oven/freezer proof and microwave/dishwasher safe (as stated on the stamp). Measurements (approx.) • Base diameter: 12.3 cm • Opening diameter: 10 cm • Height with lid: 16 cm • Height without lid: 15 cm In very good vintage condition with light wear/marks consistent with age and use.
