Vintage Alabaster Trinket Box: Floral Design, Italian Stone, 70s Decor

This is extremely beautiful and preserved vintage round trinket box in two tone colours. Made from genuine Italian alabaster, a fine-grained, translucent form of gypsum or calcite. Features a hinged lid, with gilt ( with surface scuff and scratch marks throughout - normal and natural wear from over the years) metal trim, and decorative floral design on top. Perfect for storing small jewellery, trinkets, pills, or as a decorative item. Lovely item would make thoughtful gift or must have addition to a collection. This vintage alabaster trinket box made circa 70's. is in good pre-owned condition with signs of age-appropriate wear consistent with its vintage character. The genuine Italian alabaster has a beautiful natural grain and translucency, complemented by a hinged metal trim with a floral design on the lid. There are light surface scuffs and scratches throughout — typical for a piece of this age — and slight patina on the metal trim, but no major cracks, chips, or breaks that affect functionality.
