Characterful hardwood bossing mallet used by roofers and plumbers to shape sheet lead without leaving hammer marks. Classic pear-shaped head for smooth curves and tight corners. Beautiful, honest wear with rich colour. • Period: c.1930s–50s • Material: Hardwood (likely beech/hornbeam) • Use: Lead dressing / coppersmith work, or rustic décor/prop In good vintage condition with knocks, scuffs and a turning/shrinkage line typical of the make.
